It has a PL mount so can use film lenses without the need for an adaptor.The sensor and PL mount means the camera can offer the shallow depth of field associated with film cameras.

The camera can record internally onto SxS cards. However, the quality of this recording is limited to 35mbps with 4:2:0 colour sampling. It is better to record onto an external portable recorder such as a Nano Flash which enables a higher quality recording.

The F3 is typically hired with a Zacuto or Movietube mount, an Arri follow focus unit, a Chrosziel or Arri matte box, a Nano Flash recorder and an external viewfinder.

For lenses, we offer a wide range of PL mount prime and zoom lenses.
