Procam is proud to partner with Signature Pictures to provide training opportunities to a range of diversely talented individuals in the industry. Procam has supported the production of films ‘When I Grow Up…’ and ‘We Love Moses’, the short by Teng Teng Films, which will screen during BFI London Film Festival this month under the London Calling short film selection.
Most recently, Procam supported Signature Pictures’ ‘Terry & Tiara’, an imaginative short film shot entirely with marionette puppets.
Written by the award-winning Peterborough-based poet Mark Grist and directed by former Signature Pictures’ trainee Guy Larsen, the short provided ten unemployed young people in the Peterborough region with the opportunity to work alongside the duo and other industry professionals.
'Terry & Tiara' is a playful yet dark, modern-day cautionary tale that follows the mistakes of a particularly unpleasant couple and their obsession with the objects they feel define them… and may eventually lead to their demise.
Lewis Tappenden, art trainee on 'Terry & Tiara' said of the experience, “This was one of the best experiences of my life. I can’t thank Signature Pictures and everyone involved enough for how enjoyable and enlightening the training was.”
This is the fourth film from Grist and Larsen, who have previously worked on viral 'Girls Who Read', 'A Teacher, Eh?' and 'And Keith'.
