Procam further expands its fleet of XDCAM camcorders

XDCAM has now become the preferred format for shooting on documentaries and news gathering and fits in with Procam's business strategy.

"We made a decision back in 2007 that XDCAM, with it's disc based recording and file based workflow was going to be hugely popular and we were right" he goes on to say.

This investment is in addition to Procam's expansion of it's tapeless minicam fleet, which has also seen massive expansion in recent times.
