Following last year’s hugely popular and well-attended event, the Media Technology Day returns to the luxurious Ham Yard Hotel on November 1st. The event is brought to you by the Procam GroupProcamProcam NYTake 2Procam Projects and TLS – and supported by Televisual. This all-day event features a compelling line-up of seminars and panels, including factual broadcast commissioning, innovation in production technology and sustainability (green) through post, alongside case studies exploring some of the last year’s biggest TV shows, films and commercials.

SHOWCASE OF THE LATEST KIT:

RED is showcasing its new DSMC2 camera line-up (including the MONSTRO 8K VV, HELIUM 8K S35 and GEMINI 5K S35). Canon is leading with the new C700 FF and demonstrating how shooting Full Frame adds an extra layer to production values. Sony demonstrates the VENICE with the latest version 2 firmware, adding a dual native ISO and higher frame rates from their 6K Full Frame sensor. Meanwhile, ARRI is showing the newly launched ALEXA LF and Signature Primes, along with the TRINITY and enduringly popular ALEXA Mini. Panasonic comes with their full VariCam line-up, as well as the compact EVA1 camera.

This year you can also see the latest cinema and television lenses. Zeiss comes with a full set of Supreme Primes – all Full Frame and at T1.5, exceptionally fast. Cooke Optics is presenting its latest lenses and new focal lengths, and their Full Frame range. Sigma leads with its competitively priced PL and EF cine-lenses and cine-zooms. Fujinon also demonstrates its Full Frame Expander that works with its existing Super35 cine-zooms, and TLS brings a selection of its most popular rehoused vintage glass.

Timecode Systems demonstrates how their wireless sync solutions help to drive efficiency in multicamera production and post production workflows. Procam Projects is showing both their latest fixed rigs and cine 4K multicam setup with galleries, demonstrating how their bespoke remote lens control system works with participating manufacturers.
